Relevant Experience
Since 2007 I have offered counselling within my private practice. I have also worked in a number of counselling centres. I have experience working with adults, young people and with Employee Accessibility Provision of counselling.
I have a wide range of experience working with issues including adoption, abuse, addictions, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, relationships, self-harm, sexuality, stress and suicidal ideation amongst others.
Faith-Informed Practice
Depending on the issue that people come with, work may be done on physical, emotional and rational aspects of life. Another important area in many peoples lives is the spiritual too. We can explore this as people wish, if they raise it themselves.
Supervision
I have a Diploma in Counselling Supervision. I do individual and group supervision and am able to work with counsellors from a range of different approaches because of my training and experience. I am able to see both trainees and experienced counsellors.
Pastoral Supervision
Need a confidential space to offload about pastoral issues from work (whether in a school, youth work, or in a church), with faith at the centre? Pastoral Supervision offers the space to do that, as well as to find new ways of looking at and handling these issues going forwards. Contact me to find out more.
